Job summary

Astatine Ltd is seeking an ambitious In-House Legal Counsel to join our growing team in Dublin. You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer, supporting the full project lifecycle from land acquisition to construction, financing and operations.

You’ll be exposed to a broad range of legal and commercial matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, managing risk, and developing templates and processes to keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland with 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in private practice and/or in-house legal teams.
• Experience in real estate, commercial contracts, construction or project finance; interest in broader scope including energy.
• Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiation skills; ability to communicate advice clearly.
• Exposure to corporate transactions, fundraising, debt financing or M&A.
• Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure and the energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate land agreements, leases, easements, wayleaves and other development docs.
• Support title reviews, due diligence and site assembly for renewable energy projects.
• Advise on planning, permitting and grid connection; coordinate with external advisers.
• Support project finance, corporate funding, investor documentation, due diligence and M&A activity.
• Provide practical legal advice and refine templates, processes and ways of working with external advisers.
• Collaborate with Development, Commercial, Engineering and Finance teams to move projects forward.
