A+F Recruitment is partnering with an established Irish software company to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for its Dublin-based finance team.

This senior, commercially focused role offers exposure to global sales and senior stakeholders, driving pricing, revenue recognition, forecasting and performance analysis to support growth; on-site in Dublin 1.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years’ PQE in an international business.
• Experience in Software/Technology/SAAS sector.
• Experience supporting sales teams in a commercial finance capacity.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and commercial contracts.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support global sales teams on deal pricing, tenders, quotations and contract terms.
• Manage pricing structures and pricing committee.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure revenue recognition across commercial contracts.

A+F Recruitment delighted to partner with an established Irish Software company who is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for its Dublin based finance team.

This is a senior, commercially focused position offering significant exposure to global sales teams and senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in commercial decision-making, pricing, revenue recognition, forecasting and performance analysis, while supporting the continued growth of the business.

You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders to provide commercial and financial insight across the organisation.

Please note that this position is onsite 5 days a week, based in Dublin 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting global sales teams on deal pricing, tenders, quotations and commercial contract terms
• Managing pricing structures, price lists and the pricing committee
• Analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and key variances
• Ensuring appropriate revenue recognition across commercial contracts
• Supporting monthly financial reporting and wider corporate planning
• Using data and analytics tools to provide meaningful commercial insights
• Supporting emerging ESG reporting and regulatory requirements
• Managing global insurance policies and key supplier relationships
• Contributing to finance transformation, systems and process improvement projects

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with 5+ years’ PQE and strong commercial finance experience within an international business.
• Prior experience in Software/Technology/ SAAS sector
• Significant experience supporting sales teams in a commercial finance capacity
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and revenue recognition
• Experience with software/technology pricing methodologies
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
• Exposure to global or multi-entity organisations
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance, CRM and reporting systems
• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Certinia or similar platforms would be advantageous
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
