Shop Manager – Coffeeangel (Specialty Coffee)

The role

As Shop Manager, you lead from the front as an inspiring barista, people developer, and operator.

You run the shop day‑to‑day, grow your team, and protect the quality, atmosphere, and profitability of your store.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of baristas and shop floor assistants.
• Deliver exceptional coffee, food, and service while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage rotas, ordering, inventory, and cash/POS, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Own shop performance: sales, labour, waste, and customer growth, using P&L to guide decisions.
• Uphold Coffeeangel standards in Health & Safety, food standards, and brand representation in‑store and online.

What you bring

• Experience in a managerial role in hospitality, leading teams of 5+ in a 25+ seat café, coffee shop, or restaurant.
• Strong barista skills (espresso and filter) and a genuine passion for specialty coffee and great service.
• Natural leadership: calm under pressure, high energy, and great at coaching, communicating, and building team spirit.
• Commercial awareness and confidence with numbers, rotas, and KPIs.
