Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Café Food and Coffee Compliance Coach to train café teams in coffee quality and brand standards. The role is field-based with one day per week in the office, travelling between café sites to ensure consistency and high service standards.

You will report to the Coffee Quality Compliance Manager and support growth by coaching teams to deliver excellent coffee and customer experiences across Ireland, the UK and US operations.

Qualifications

• A passion for coffee.
• Clean Driver's licence.
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience, working with a coffee company or similar hospitality industry.
• Strong Customer focused attitude.
• High proficiency in all Microsoft Office software also essential (Excel, PPT).
• Experience in a high-volume retail environment preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured coffee training and coaching for café teams and baristas across the estate.
• Maintain high standards for coffee quality, drink presentation and portion control.
• Conduct site visits, quality checks and coaching to ensure recipes and brand standards are followed.
• Ensure compliance with Braeburn brand guidelines, including menu execution and merchandising.
• Coach teams to deliver friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service.
• Monitor KPIs like speed of service and identify workflow improvements.
• Review monthly café margin and investigate underperformance.
• Collaborate with Operations to action corrective plans where KPIs are not met.
• Provide feedback after site visits and foster coffee champions across cafés.
