Gourmet Food Parlour in Malahide is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team while supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily operations.

This role offers a predominantly daytime schedule with an excellent work-life balance, an attractive seaside location, on-site parking, comprehensive training, tips, subsidised meals, and clear career progression within Ireland's growing hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
• Lead the team by example, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.
• Assist in achieving financial targets through effective labour, stock and cost management.
• Manage daily cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control.
• Prepare and coordinate employee rotas to ensure efficient staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, HACCP, health & safety and cleaning standards.
• Train, coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Build strong working relationships with the kitchen team to ensure excellent service and food quality.
• Liaise daily with Operations and Reservations teams to ensure smooth service and successful event execution.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
• Promote Gourmet Food Parlour's brand values and maintain high operational standards.
• Step into the Restaurant Manager's role when required.
