Job summary

CPL Healthcare in Ireland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for Paediatric Complex Care in Homecare. The role leads a community paediatric nursing team and provides hands-on clinical leadership to ensure high-quality family-centered care.

You will coordinate scheduling, mentor staff, contribute to clinical and strategic planning with CNM2 and CNF, and support children with complex needs to live safely at home with their families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Paediatric qualification (essential).
• Previous leadership or team management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for working with children and families in home care.

Join our dynamic CNM team as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) as we expand our service and make a lasting impact by supporting children with complex needs to live safely at home, surrounded by their loved ones.

Responsibilities

As CNM1, you will:

• Collaborate with existing members of our Paediatric Complex team CNM2, Clinical Nurse Facilitator (CNF), and CNM1 to lead and support a team of community nurses
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and excellent family support
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes
• Liaising closely with families, MDT and nursing team in the home, with support from CNM2 and CNF

Requirements

• Dynamic Registered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification (essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN
• Previous leadership or team management experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting families delivering care in children’s homes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based care environment
