Job summary

Cpl Group is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for Paediatric Complex Care in Ireland. The role focuses on leading a team delivering home-based paediatric care, with hands-on leadership and collaborative teamwork with CNM2, CNF and the broader MDT to ensure safe, high-quality care for children at home.

The CNM1 will oversee staffing, provide mentorship, and contribute to service planning, while maintaining family-focused support and high standards of clinical practice in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Dynamic Registered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification (essential) or dual qualification (RN/SCN)
• Leadership or team management experience preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CNM2, CNF and CNM1 to lead and support a team of community nurses
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and excellent family support
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes
• Liaise closely with families, MDT and home nursing team with CNM2/CNF support

Responsibilities

As CNM1, you will:

• Collaborate with existing members of our Paediatric Complex team CNM2, Clinical Nurse Facilitator (CNF), and CNM1 to lead and support a team of community nurses
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and excellent family support
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes
• Liaising closely with families, MDT and nursing team in the home, with support from CNM2 and CNF

Requirements

• Dynamic Registered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification (essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN
• Previous leadership or team management experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting families delivering care in children's homes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based care environment
