Job summary

CPL Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for paediatric community care. This full-time, permanent role focuses on leading a team of community nurses in delivering high-quality paediatric home-based care.

You will mentor staff, coordinate scheduling, and work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support children with complex needs living at home. Monday–Friday, with emphasis on leadership and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Paediatric qualification (essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN.
• Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of community nurses.
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship.
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and family support.
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes.
• Liaise closely with families, MDT and home nursing team with CNM2/CNF support.

Join our dynamic CNM team as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1)as we expand our service and make a lasting impact by supporting children with complex needs to live safely at home, surrounded by their loved ones.

Responsibilities

As CNM1, you will:

• Collaborate with existing members of our Paediatric Complex team CNM2, Clinical Nurse Facilitator (CNF), and CNM1 to lead and support a team of community nurses
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and excellent family support
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes
• Liaising closely with families, MDT and nursing team in the home, with support from CNM2 and CNF

Requirements

• DynamicRegistered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification(essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN
• Previous leadership or team management experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting families delivering care in children’s homes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based care environment
