Well-known Paediatric Community Organization seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to lead a paediatric community team across the Connaght region, expanding services for children with complex needs.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers hands-on clinical leadership, staff scheduling oversight, and close collaboration with families, CNM2 and CNF to deliver safe, high‑quality home care. Join a compassionate culture that prioritises family-centred care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Dynamic Registered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification (essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN.
• Previous leadership or team management experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of community nurses.
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination.
• Collaborate with MDT and families to plan care at home.
• Ensure safe, high-quality paediatric home care outcomes.
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes.

Join our dynamic CNM team as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1)as we expand our service and make a lasting impact by supporting children with complex needs to live safely at home, surrounded by their loved ones.

Responsibilities

As CNM1, you will:

• Collaborate with existing members of our Paediatric Complex team CNM2, Clinical Nurse Facilitator (CNF), and CNM1 to lead and support a team of community nurses
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentorship
• Oversee nurse scheduling and staffing coordination
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and excellent family support
• Contribute to clinical and strategic planning to improve outcomes
• Liaising closely with families, MDT and nursing team in the home, with support from CNM2 and CNF

Requirements

• DynamicRegistered Nurse with Paediatric Qualification(essential) or dual qualification RGN SCN
• Previous leadership or team management experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting families delivering care in children’s homes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based care environment
