Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to design and implement secure data management systems in the public cloud. You will protect data, conduct security reviews, and help maintain robust controls across Data & AI/ML services.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with IAM, threat intelligence, and network security teams, and contribute to a culture of security and resilience. This role is based in Dublin with on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of cloud security concepts (IAM, encryption, network security, logging).
• Hands-on AWS security experience.
• Interest in Data Analytics/AI/ML including Generative AI and LLMs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and improvement of information risk and control strategies for Data & AI/ML services in the public cloud.
• Perform risk-based assessments of technology controls for cloud services and architecture.
• Advise business teams on control requirements across cloud architectures.
• Review infrastructure-as-code to ensure security standards alignment.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and support agile processes.
