Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Dublin seeks a Cloud Security Software Engineer to design and implement security controls across Public Cloud environments. This role emphasizes automation, governance, and secure software development within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group.

You will partner across lines of business to enable secure cloud adoption, build scalable security tooling, and validate AI-assisted outputs while ensuring data protection and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, EKS) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience in enterprise software development; Python preferred.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
• Agile development familiarity; ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to validate AI-assisted outputs.

Responsibilities

• Engage and improve the lifecycle of services from design to deployment and refinement.
• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software/tooling solutions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Perform design and code reviews.
• Develop and build Cloud Environment Governance, Auditing, Monitoring, Remediation, and Reporting solutions.
