Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Dublin. Hybrid work arrangement: three days in the office, with responsibilities spanning cloud infrastructure, IaC with Terraform, and platform ownership of enterprise-scale systems.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure robust monitoring, logging and security for multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong automation and deployment pipeline experience.
• Hands-on Terraform and cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/Azure).
• Solid CI/CD experience across Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Exposure to Ansible/Chef/Puppet and Linux/shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Sterling MFT platforms and secure file exchange.
• Nice to have: Java/Spring Boot exposure.
• Nice to have: REST API experience.
• Nice to have: Oracle/PostgreSQL familiarity.
• Nice to have: Sterling Secure Proxy.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure.
• Own Infrastructure as Code delivery using Terraform.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Deploy and manage containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automate partner onboarding, certificate management and file routing.
• Own monitoring, logging and observability across platforms.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, MFT and application issues.
