Job summary

Adecco is seeking an IT Infrastructure Architect to join a high-performing technology team in Dublin. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and evolving enterprise-scale on-premises and hybrid infrastructure, with opportunities to support cloud transformation and automation initiatives.

The position offers a permanent contract, a hybrid work model, and a focus on resilience, security, and modernization across data centre technologies and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale on-premises/hybrid infra.
• Strong data centre, networking, compute/server, storage, and security skills.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures, especially Azure.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and Windows/Linux.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, and CI/CD.
• Ability to communicate complex tech to diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design target-state architectures for on-prem and hybrid.
• Architect end-to-end compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies aligning with objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support goals.
• Develop architecture governance and standards.
• Contribute to long-term roadmaps and investment planning.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure programs.
• Act as SME in data centre and virtualization.
• Drive IaC, automation, and orchestration adoption.
• Embed resilience, DR, and security into designs.
• Support cloud adoption while integrating with existing infra.
