Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is recruiting a Senior Cloud Architect for a Dublin-based, hybrid, six-month daily-rate contract. The role focuses on designing and evolving secure, scalable cloud and container platform solutions for regulated environments.

You will design cloud infrastructure, guide cloud adoption, and work with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift/ROSA, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong communication across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of architecture experience.
• Experience with AWS and Azure environments.
• Kubernetes, OpenShift and ROSA.
• Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Python or scripting/automation.
• Regulated or financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure and platform solutions aligned with security and architectural standards.
• Provide guidance on cloud adoption, solution design and implementation.
• Design and support Kubernetes and container platforms (ROSA).
• Identify opportunities to improve cloud cost, performance, resilience and scalability.
• Create reusable architectural patterns and guardrails to accelerate safe cloud adoption.
• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams and communicate designs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Have strong cloud-native architecture experience and hands-on knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, alongside IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments is important, with ROSA particularly valuable.
• Strong understanding of cloud native architecture and enjoy solving complex problems in a practical, collaborative way.
• You are comfortable working with public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and have hands-on experience using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Python is also a differential.
• You value clear documentation and can explain technical concepts in a way that works for different audiences. Strong relationship building skills help you work effectively across teams and with partners.

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Senior Cloud Architect for a 6 month daily rate contract with a view to be extended working on a hybrid model. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design and evolve secure, scalable cloud and container platform solutions.
