Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd. in Ireland is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect for a permanent hybrid role based in Limerick. You will lead the design of secure, scalable cloud solutions and help set the cloud strategy across the organisation.

You will mentor teams, define governance and best practices, and work with engineering, security and DevOps to deliver transformative cloud initiatives. Extensive experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, and container tech is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in cloud architecture
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, DevOps and automation
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and serverless architectures
• Track record leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes
• Certifications in cloud architecture and IaC; coding skills in Python/Go/Java are advantageous
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services) is a bonus
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Architect for a permanent role with a global financial services organisation. It's a hybrid role based in Limerick. You'll lead the design of secure, scalable cloud solutions and help set the direction of the organisation's cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native and hybrid architectures that meet business, security and regulatory requirements
• Set and develop cloud strategy, standards and best practice across the organisation
• Act as a senior technical adviser to several teams, guiding cloud adoption and modernisation
• Put in place cloud governance, cost management and operational frameworks
• Work with engineering, security, DevOps and business teams to deliver complete solutions
• Assess new technologies and recommend where they could add value
• Mentor architects, engineers and developers on cloud patterns and best practice

Requirements
