This role will primarily involve working night shifts. You will oversee clinical care, ensure high standards, lead a multidisciplinary team, and promote resident safety and dignity within a person-centred framework.

Qualifications

• Eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Two to three years of minimum appropriate post-registration experience.
• Post-registration training in dementia care and/or gerontology is desirable.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical expertise are needed.
• Must be qualified to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of a high standard of care to residents and families in the unit.
• Develop relationships with residents to support autonomy and informed choice.
• Promote resident safety and dignity, respecting privacy and rights.
• Assist residents in maintaining identity and involving them in decisions.
• Operate the Nursing Home respecting age, gender, disability, and cultural backgrounds.
