Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Kildare, Ireland. The role is permanent/full-time with a strong leadership focus on person-centred care and clinical service delivery.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, plan staffing, administer medications, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing on budgeting and resources. On-site training, meals, parking, and CPD support are included.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
Proven track record in team leadership and performance management.
At least 3 years’ experience in Care of the Elderly.
Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Strong ability to lead, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care.
Prepare and administer medications following guidelines.
Maintain residents’ hygiene, personal care and dignity.
Act on behalf of the Director of Nursing in their absence or emergencies.
Plan and allocate staff according to clinical needs and manage rotas.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on planning, budgeting and resources.
Foster a positive team ethos and provide training and supervision.
