Job summary

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead nursing and social care across our home locations in Wicklow, Wexford, Clare, Cork, Dublin, Meath and Kilkenny.

The CNM will ensure high standards of care, manage medications, supervise staff, audit care plans, and act as a key contact for residents' relatives, while covering for annual leave as necessary.

Qualifications

• BSc in General Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
• Sound decision making ability.
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
• Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
• Results driven.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and social care which meet the individual needs of residents.
• Medication Management.
• Staff Supervision & Training.
• Auditing care practices and documentation.
• Review admissions and ensure assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation are documented.
• Interact and support residents and families daily as a key contact for relatives and visitors.
• Swiftly deal with complaints at the point of contact.
• Assist with Director of Nursing responsibilities when covering annual leave.
