Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a leading nursing home in Clare. This full-time permanent role offers a chance to lead the nursing team and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in a supportive environment.

The CNM will oversee care planning, supervise medication administration, mentor staff, and drive infection control and quality improvements. Excellent leadership and communication are essential, with NMBI registration and current nursing

Qualifications

BSc in General Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Registered on the NMBI live register.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage care delivery.
Able to work independently and promote a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care.
Ensure policies and best practices are followed; address concerns with Director of Nursing.
Review residents' care plans and implement interventions.
Supervise medication administration and liaise with GPs and pharmacies.
Deliver in-house training on infection control, palliative care, and behaviour management.
Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance and improvements.
Act as main contact for residents and families; manage complaints.
Assist with daily operations, rosters, handovers, and H&S compliance.
