Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to join a multidisciplinary team caring for young adults on a detention campus in Dublin. The CNM1 reports to CNM2 with accountability to the Campus Director.

Responsibilities include delivering integrated primary healthcare, conducting nursing assessments, complying with Children First Act 2015, and leading medication management and health education.

Qualifications

• NMBI registration in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year post registration experience within an acute setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical and Professional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide Integrated Primary Healthcare: Deliver comprehensive physical and mental health nursing services to young people in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct Assessments & Reporting: Complete thorough nursing assessments, collate medical histories, and produce reports for courts and placement planning.
• Safeguarding & Legal Compliance: Fulfill mandatory nurse reporting duties under the Children First Act 2015 and liaise with child protection officers as needed.
• Medication & Health Promotion: Manage medication safely and lead health education and promotion programs as part of holistic care planning.
