Job summary

TTM Healthcare are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (RPN) for a leading Mental Health Hospital in South Dublin. The CNM3 will oversee patient safety, quality care through IPC and medical emergency responses, and lead SafeWards across the hospital.

This is a new position; the successful candidate will have no direct reports but will be supported by a robust management team, focusing on staff development and clinical governance within the unit.

Qualifications

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with NMBI.
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
• Knowledge and experience in infection prevention and control.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering staff training.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Commitment to further study in IPC and SafeWards.

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (RPN) on behalf of a leading Mental Health Hospital based in South Dublin.

Reports To: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Accountable To: Director of Nursing
Location: Dublin 16
Contract Type: Permanent Full-time

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering core hours between 8am – 6pm.

Grade Code: Clinical Nurse Manager 3

Salary scale: €65,818 67,121 70,413 71,708 73,010 74,329

The Role

The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) role will have overall responsibility for ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care through expert oversight of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Medical Emergency Responses, and for leading, delivering and implementing a SafeWards model across the Hospital.

This is a new position to the Hospital. The successful candidate will have no one reporting into them but will be supported by a robust management team.

Requirements

Essential

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role working with a team.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in infection prevention and control.

• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Proven experience of designing and delivering staff training.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• A commitment to further study in the areas of IPC and SafeWards to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date, relevant and compliant.

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification in Infection Prevention & Control, Nursing Management, SafeWards or related field.
• Experience in Safe Wards model and quality improvement frameworks.
• Proven track record in audit and risk management.
