Job summary

Avista CLG is inviting applications for a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 in Community Residential Services, located in Limerick. The role requires NMBI registration, a Level 6 management qualification, and a clean driving licence.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage change, and ensure HIQA-standard care for service users. The successful candidate will have 2+ years CNM2 experience in intellectual disability, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to partner with families and

• NMBI Registration is required.
• FETAC/QQI Level 6 Management Qualification or equivalent is required.
• Full, clean driving licence is required for manual vehicles.
• Minimum of two years’ CNM2 level experience in intellectual disability.
• Proven leadership, managerial and people-management skills.
• Experience with HIQA standards/regulations and Health Act 2007.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of Community Residential Services.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality services.
• Mentor and develop staff teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Lead change initiatives and service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Health Act 2007 and respond to HIQA recommendations.

• NMBI Registration.
• Management Qualification- Possess a Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Full Clean Driving Licence for Manual Vehicles.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience at CNM2 level in the area of intellectual disability.
• Be a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective leadership and managerial skills, and the capacity to manage change.
• Have proven people management, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work on projects as directed by the Service Manager.
• Have experience of working with Behaviours of Concern and complex care needs and supporting, mentoring staff teams in the delivery of a high quality to the Service Users.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and have the ability to maintain the high-level set post initial registration visit by HIQA.
• Have experience working with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies in the co-ordination of services.
