Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Project Controls professional to support major capital and mission critical projects from our Cork or Dublin offices. You will contribute to cost management, procurement strategy, contract administration, change control and commercial reporting across the full lifecycle of complex programmes.

The role offers direct client exposure within a multidisciplinary EPCM environment and a clear path toward senior quantity surveying and project controls

Qualifications

• 3–8 years’ experience in quantity surveying, cost management, contract administration, procurement support, change control or commercial reporting.
• Experience within EPC/EPCM, PQS, contractor or engineering consultancy settings is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to the UK or mainland Europe as required.
• Chartered status with SCSI and/or RICS advantageous with development support.
• Sector exposure in pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centres or mission critical projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support cost plans, budget estimates, forecasts and cost reports across project phases.
• Assist with contract preparation, commercial reviews, tender analysis and award recommendations.
• Assist with interim valuations, progress measurement, variation assessment, change control, payment recommendations and final accounts.
• Prepare tender enquiry documents, bills of quantities, pricing schedules and commercial clarifications.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions and provide commercial input into procurement strategy and contract awards.
• Maintain historical cost data, benchmarks and project metrics for estimating and cost planning.
