WTW Ireland is seeking a Client Service - Construction Broker to manage and grow a portfolio of large construction clients across Dublin and Cork. You will lead placement, negotiate complex risks, and provide expert advisory services to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction broking and insurance markets.
• CIP qualified; ACII/MDI preferred.
• Strong negotiation and client servicing skills.
• Ability to interpret legal and contractual documentation.
• Experience servicing and growing a portfolio of business.

Responsibilities

• Manage, service, and retain a portfolio of construction clients including contractors, developers and project owners.
• Lead placement and negotiation of complex construction risks including Liability and CAR.
• Develop and implement placement strategies to optimize coverage and pricing.
• Provide technical expertise on construction risks, policy wording and programme design.
• Build and maintain insurer relationships to achieve best pricing and coverage.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support tenders and pitches.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and grow a portfolio of large and complex construction clients, delivering specialist broking, placement and advisory services while driving retention, growth and superior client outcomes.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, service and retention of a portfolio of construction clients including contractors, developers and project owners.
• Lead placement and negotiation of complex construction risks including Liability, CAR and associated construction covers.
• Develop and implement placement strategies to optimize coverage and pricing.
• Provide technical expertise on construction risks, policy wording and programme design to our customers and internal WTW teams.
• Build and maintain strong insurer relationships to achieve best customer pricing and coverage.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support development of tenders, RFPs and pitches as needed.
• Collaborate with Construction Lead, Account Executives and service teams to improve WTW’s strategic decision making in the Construction specialism and wider business.
• Mentor junior brokers and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience in construction broking, insurance products and markets
• CIP qualified; ACII/MDI (or progression) preferred
• Proven ability in complex placements and insurer negotiation
• Ability to interpret legal and contractual documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially focused with a track record in servicing and maintaining an existing portfolio of Business along with growing and pursuing new business
