Willis Towers Watson in Ireland (Dublin and Cork) is seeking a Client Service - Construction Broker to manage a portfolio of large construction clients, delivering specialist broking, placement and advisory services while driving retention and growth.

You will lead complex placements, negotiate with insurers, provide technical guidance on coverage, and mentor junior brokers, with hybrid working options and a strong focus on client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in construction broking and related markets.
• CIP qualification; ACII/MDI or progression preferred.
• Proven ability in complex placements and insurer negotiation.
• Ability to interpret legal and contractual documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercially focused with a track record of servicing and growing portfolios.

Client Service - Construction Broker

Join WTW as a Client Service - Construction Broker at our Dublin and Cork office. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and grow a portfolio of large and complex construction clients, delivering specialist broking, placement and advisory services while driving retention, growth and superior client outcomes.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, service and retention of a portfolio of construction clients including contractors, developers and project owners.
• Lead placement and negotiation of complex construction risks including Liability, CAR and associated construction covers.
• Develop and implement placement strategies to optimize coverage and pricing.
• Provide technical expertise on construction risks, policy wording and programme design to our customers and internal WTW teams.
• Build and maintain strong insurer relationships to achieve best customer pricing and coverage.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support development of tenders, RFPs and pitches as needed.
• Collaborate with Construction Lead, Account Executives and service teams to improve WTW’s strategic decision making in the Construction specialism and wider business.
• Mentor junior brokers and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements

Qualifications

• Commercially focused with a track record in servicing and maintaining an existing portfolio of Business along with growing and pursuing new business
