Job summary

Apleona is seeking part-time cleaning staff to join sites in Mullingar and Athlone, Westmeath. The role involves standard cleaning duties across premises, with emphasis on safety and COSHH guidelines. You will work as part of a team delivering excellent customer service on site.

Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to prioritise tasks are valued. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated good work record and reliability.
• Basic health and safety knowledge required.
• Experience with cleaning equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpets and mop/buff floors.
• Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Use cleaning materials safely per COSHH guidelines.
• Display safety signage during cleaning operations.
• Report defects and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activities.
• Undertake job-related training as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
