Job summary

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Ennis, Co. Clare on a permanent basis. The role is 19.5 hours per week, Tue, Wed and Fri, 11:00am–7:00pm, with additional hours possible. Rate is €14.80 per hour and eligibility to work in Ireland is required.

Ideal candidates will have English language proficiency, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards on client sites.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is required.
• English language skills: able to speak, understand, and write in English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy (including toilets).
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces if required.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Undertake tasks as instructed by the Area Manager.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements on client sites and company premises.
• Handle client property with care.
