Job summary

Samsic Facility Ireland is hiring a Cleaning Operative at Kildare Village, Co. Kildare.

This permanent role involves performing a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning toilets, and waste disposal, during a morning shift from 7:00 to 9:00, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have English skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential.
• English language skills: able to speak, understand, and write in English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and cleaning toilets.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop floors.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces when required.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Follow instructions from Area Manager.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety on client sites and company premises.

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Reports to: Area Manager

Rate: €14.80 per hour

Location: Kildare Village, Co. Kildare

Job Type: Permanent position

Working Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 9:00am.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy (including toilets).
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces if required.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Undertake tasks as instructed by the Area Manager.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements on client sites and company premises.
• Handle client property with care.
