Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our growing team in Sligo, Ireland. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and professional space for all.

• Carry out daily cleaning and sanitisation duties across all areas of the workplace, including offices, communal spaces, and facilities Utilise cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practice guidelines Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or concerns to your supervisor promptly
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness and organisation Respond professionally to client and colleague requests, demonstrating excellent customer-focused service at all times Manage your time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled working hours Support additional duties as required, which may include assisting with catering operations or other organisational needs
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and working patterns Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain environmental and health standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns Maintain trustworthiness and discretion when working across different areas of the facility

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or foodservice operations Familiarity with modern cleaning equipment and technologies Relevant health and safety certifications or training Awareness of sustainability and environmental best practices in cleaning operations Experience working in fast-paced or multi-site environments Adaptability to different cleaning environments and client requirements
