Job summary

DFDS A/S is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to transport chilled and ambient goods across depots and customer sites in Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will join a safety‑driven team focused on reliability and customer service, with day or night shifts and independent work complemented by a supportive team.

Applicants must hold a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence, valid CPC and tachograph card, and demonstrate strong English communication.

About the role

As a Class 1 HGV Driver working either days or nights, you'll be responsible for transporting chilled and ambient goods between our depots and customer sites. You'll play a key role in delivering a reliable service, ensuring products arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles between depots and customer locations
• Delivering chilled and ambient products safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Completing delivery documentation and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secured correctly
• Complying with all road transport legislation, including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Assisting with loading and unloading activities when required
• Ensuring loads are distributed safely and securely before departure

About you

You’ll need a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence, along with a valid CPC and tachograph card to get started.
