Job summary

IPB Insurance in Dublin 2 is seeking a Claims Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure claims handling aligns with SLAs, policies, and regulatory standards. You will evaluate processes, drive improvements, and partner with internal teams and external providers to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the claims lifecycle.

You will support compliance, handling complaints, and contribute to system enhancements, while fostering continuous improvement in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

  • Evaluating claims handling procedures to ensure compliance with best practice, regulatory requirements and SLAs.
  • Conducting audits, analyzing data, and generating reports to drive continuous process improvement and reduce errors such as Claims Leakage.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external providers on system enhancements, user testing, and process updates.

  • Managing complaint logs, ensuring timely resolution, and supporting regulatory compliance, including audits and adherence to industry standards.
  • Developing and maintaining quality procedures, supporting training initiatives, and follow-up on corrective actions to drive performance improvements.

Title: Claims Quality Assurance Analyst

Reporting to: Claims Business Support Manager

Location: Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2

Contract: Permanent

Working Model: Hybrid Working Model (two days in the office, three days working remote on a weekly basis. Flexibility to work additional days in the office will be required depending on business demands).

About the Role

The Claims Quality Assurance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring claims handling procedures are executed in compliance with SLAs, best practices, and internal policies. This position involves evaluating claims processing to maintain consistency and accuracy while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. The role will collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers to assess performance, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights. Additionally, the Claims Quality Assurance Analyst will contribute to regulatory compliance, complaint management, and system enhancements, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards across the claims process. The overall goal is to ensure that claims are processed effectively, meeting industry standards and delivering optimal outcomes for the business and its customers.

Fitness & Probity and Conduct Standards

IPB Insurance is a financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. As such, this role is regulated and subject to the Fitness and Probity Standards as set out by the Central Bank. These standards require that individuals performing Controlled Functions (CFs) are competent, capable, honest, ethical, and act with integrity. In addition, the role is subject to the Conduct Standards introduced under the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023, which apply throughout the course of employment. Accordingly, this role will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures, and there will be an ongoing requirement for the role holder to maintain both fit and proper status and adherence to the Conduct Standards throughout their employment.

To be successful in the role you will be accountable for
  • Evaluating claims handling procedures to ensure compliance with best practice, regulatory requirements and Service Legal Agreements.

What we're looking for
  • MCC qualified, with a minimum of CIP, and ideally a relevant professional or third-level qualifications.
  • Experience in claims within the General Insurance Industry, including a minimum of 1 year in a quality assurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of Public Liability, Employers Liability, Motor, and Property claims, including regulatory and operational requirements.
  • A customer-focused, flexible, and self-motivated individual with excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
