Job summary

Kinsale Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Operations Specialist to join our Claims team in delivering accurate, timely processing across the full lifecycle of claims. You will work with experienced professionals to maintain data quality, support examiners, and manage day-to-day workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include routing claims, handling invoices, maintaining records, and using AI tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint with Excel tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and route new claims from mailbox and calls, verify policy details, assign to teams.
• Manage inboxes and service desk, triage requests, process invoices and mailings.
• Index, organize, and upload documents while keeping notes accurate and compliant.
• Support examiners and leadership with document requests and daily prioritization.
• Process payments and maintain vendor/payee information within authority limits.
• Handle catastrophe bulletins and distribute to relevant teams.
• Maintain logs and prepare monthly and ad hoc reports for multiple stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to enhance workflows and flag recurring errors.
