Job summary

CMS Distribution is seeking a Customer Claims Officer in Ireland to manage key parts of the customer claims and funding processes. You will work with customers, vendors, Sales Account Managers, Finance and Credit Control to ensure funding requests and claims are completed accurately and timely.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ownership to drive tasks to completion, including monitoring aged debt and supporting month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Dept. or other financial role desirable.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced administrative role, liaising with multiple teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• SAP experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prioritise daily Customer Claims Helpdesk requests.
• Advance claims and funding tasks through workflow stages with proper documentation and approvals.
• Maintain and monitor the Customer Funding workflow in Pipefy, identifying delays and risks.
• Prepare, validate and submit vendor claims accurately per vendor requirements.
• Issue customer credit notes after checks to ensure correct coding and compliance.
• Keep Customer Conditions in internal systems aligned with pricing and funding rules.
• Monitor aged debt and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Support month-end through data preparation and reconciliation support.
• Provide proactive updates on claim progress, risks, and overdue items.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Commercial and Credit Control to resolve issues.
