Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join a busy civil contractor delivering commercial and residential projects across Wicklow. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site coordination, labour, plant and subcontractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Site Foreman in civil engineering, with strong communication and leadership skills, and a valid Safe Pass.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Foreman in civil engineering/construction.
• Strong experience in groundworks and civil infrastructure.
• Experience on commercial and/or residential developments.
• Ability to read drawings and understand construction specs.
• Good understanding of setting out, levels and site sequencing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and site activities.
• Safe Pass and relevant site qualifications.
• Full driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day site activities.
• Manage site crews, subcontractors and plant.
• Ensure works are safe, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Read and work from drawings, specifications and site plans.
• Coordinate groundworks, drainage, ducting, roads, concrete and associated civil works.
• Monitor progress against programme and report any issues to management.
• Organise labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Liaise with Site Engineers, Project Managers and subcontractors.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site.
• Assist with setting out and levels where required.
• Ensure the site is kept organised and works are progressing to schedule.
