Job summary

Wills Bros Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Estimator for its Sallins office. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions for major civil and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of estimating experience in civil engineering, with a degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and strong Excel and BoQ skills. You will collaborate across pre-construction, commercial and operations teams to deliver robust

Qualifications

• 3–5 years estimating experience within construction or civil engineering.
• Experience with main contractor is desirable.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil projects.
• Review drawings and bills of quantities to understand scope.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and internal teams to clarify tender docs.
• Maintain records of estimates and tender documentation.
• Support commercial team with bid documentation and clarifications.
• Ensure timely completion of estimates within tender timelines.
