Job summary

ProSource Group in Ireland seeks a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for major civil engineering projects nationwide. You will provide strategic guidance to the pre-construction team, develop accurate tender submissions, and drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of estimators.
• Strong ability to develop accurate tender submissions.
• Capability to identify value engineering opportunities and drive cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of estimators to drive performance and collaboration.
• Develop estimating strategies aligned with market trends and project needs.
• Oversee tender processes from inquiry to bid submission with accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for civil projects including materials, labour, equipment and indirect costs.
• Identify value engineering opportunities with design teams and subcontractors.
• Perform risk assessments and sensitivity analyses to gauge project viability.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders and promote the company professionally.
