Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Civil Engineer to join the Highways and Active Travel team in Dublin. You will lead design and delivery of highway and public transport projects, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, with a focus on quality, cost control and programme adherence.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Good understanding of DMRB, local standards and CDM regulations.
• Experience with highway design software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Produce designs, calculations, drawings and documentation to meet quality, cost and programme.
• Liaise with client and suppliers at peer level and attend progress meetings.
• Oversee delivery of workload and supervise a small technical team.
• Contribute to bids and business development activities.
