Job summary
Amey Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead a Dublin Highways team, delivering highway and public transport projects. You will oversee design delivery, feasibility studies, cost estimates and specifications while mentoring graduates and technicians.
The role supports Ireland and UK initiatives with hybrid working options. The ideal candidate has a strong background in highways/civil engineering, professional accreditation (IEng/CEng desirable) and a track record in delivering complex
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
- Incorporated or Chartered status or equivalent licence desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead on delivery of scheme design and support Design Team Leader.
- Surveys/Inspections.
- Feasibility and other technical reports.
- Planning, programming and cost estimation.
- Design production.
- Production of design schedules.
- Reviewing and amending design drawings.
- Production of specifications.
- Support development of Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
- Deliver designs on time per programme.
- Drive health and safety practices within the team.
- Liaise with Client and community partners for buildability/maintainability.
- Prepare technical reports (Feasibility/Options/Assessment).
