Job summary

Sheridans Cheesemongers is seeking Christmas seasonal staff for the Blanchardstown shop to assist in a busy festive period. You will help customers, learn about Irish and European artisan foods, and support the team with display, hampers, and stock control.

No cheesemongering experience is required; enthusiasm for good food and a collaborative attitude are valued. In-house training is provided, with a staff discount on Sheridans products.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident communication with customers.
• Willingness to learn about cheese and artisan products.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and customer focus.
• Flexible availability (4–5 days per week, including weekends).
• Previous retail or food experience is helpful, but full training is provided.

• Helping customers choose products, discover new flavours, and find the perfect pairings.
• Preparing, caring for, and displaying cheese and other products to a high standard.
• Supporting the team with deliveries, stock rotation, and keeping the shop well organised.
• Preparing and presenting festive food hampers.
• Keeping counters, fridges, and work areas clean and tidy.
• Helping the team deliver a smooth and enjoyable customer experience throughout the busy Christmas period.

We're looking for seasonal team members to join Sheridans Cheesemongers over the busy Christmas period. From serving customers and preparing cheese to building festive hampers and keeping things running behind the scenes, you'll be part of the team that makes Christmas at Sheridans happen.

No previous cheesemongering experience is needed. An interest in cheese and good food is preferred, but not essential. What's most important is a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and an enjoyment of working with customers and as part of a team.
