Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland seeks a Programme Lead to manage and lead a team delivering Before School, After School and Holiday Clubs on-site at schools. You will run daily activities, engage with children and families, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations with high energy and enthusiasm.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years with school-aged children, a childcare qualification (Fetac Level 5 or equivalent), and Garda vetting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Childcare qualification such as Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Garda vetting completed or in process (essential).
• Two written references required before starting.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver programmes at schools.
• Maintain day-to-day activities and supervise daily routines.
• Interact with children, families and staff each day.
• Demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred (minimum 2 years).

Job Description

Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

Own carrequiredfor programme lead

Maintain the day-to-day activities

Interacting with the children, theirfamiliesand other staff members each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)

Proficiencyin technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Qualifications

Childcare qualificationFetacLevel 5 of equivalent

Basic knowledge of child development

Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written

Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

8.00-9.00 and 13.45-18.00 with 2 hours admin time

Total is28 hours 15 minutes weekly.
