Job summary

Enable Ireland seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Wicklow teams. The post involves delivering OT assessments and interventions for children aged 0–18 and their families within an interdisciplinary framework.

You must be registered or eligible for registration with CORU, have postgraduate experience in child disability services, and be able to work across clinics, schools and community settings. The role is permanent, 35 hours weekly, pro rata salary.

Qualifications

• Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the CORU Occupational Therapists Register.
• Provide proof of Statutory Registration on CORU.
• Eligible to work in the State.
• Postgraduate work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with interdisciplinary team working.
• Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
• Postgraduate training specific to child disability services.
• Experience working with Assistive Technology.
• Postgraduate experience in a public sector health service.
• Experience working on or completing a placement with a CDNT.
• Relevant voluntary experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for 0–18 years and families.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision and contribute to service development.
• Deliver services across clinics, preschools, schools, homes and community settings.
