Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Portlaoise is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist. You will assess and deliver therapy for children with complex needs and work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

Overview

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in children’s lives? Do you want to be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team where every day brings a new opportunity to create meaningful impact? Our client’s busy Children’s Disability Service in Portlaoise is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join them in providing high-quality care to children with a range of developmental needs.

This team covers school and home visits across Portarlington, Mountmellick and Edenderry.

Responsibilities
  • In this role, you’ll assess, plan, and deliver essential occupational therapy for children with complex needs.
  • As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to develop holistic, child-centered care plans.

  • Staff Grades will be offered extensive training and induction coupled with excellent support and supervision.
  • This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunities.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU.
  • Experience: For Staff Grade, experience working with children in a disability setting is preferred but not required.
