Job summary

Echelon Data Centres is seeking a Chief Engineer – M&E Services for its new facility in Dublin, Ireland. You will manage and oversee all mechanical and electrical system operations during fitout, commissioning, and start-up, reporting to the Data Centre Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, 5+ within the data centre industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages mechanical & electrical services maintenance for assigned facilities and assists in the development of OpEx/CapEx budgets.
• Leads technical staff, including direct employees, outsourced partners and contractors.
• Owns site M&E services procedures and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates maintenance with change control, external providers and contractors.
• Interfaces with project delivery during commissioning and operational readiness for delivery projects.
• Acts as health and safety champion identifying and mitigating risks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an associated engineering discipline
