Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, is seeking a demi/Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join our Kitchen team. A qualified pastry chef at demi or chef de partie level with 2+ years in a similar hotel/restaurant background is required.

You will develop skills under the Head Chef and contribute to high-quality pastry preparations for lunch and dinner services. This is a full-time position including weekends and evenings, with opportunities for career growth and training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a similar hotel/restaurant background.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food preparation for afternoon and evening service.
• Ensure all food prepared and presented is of high quality.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines & HACCP.
• Assist other sections of the Kitchen as required.

We are currently inviting applications for a demi/ Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join our Kitchen team. A qualified chef to a demi chef de partie or chef de partie level is required for the main kitchen with a further 2+ year experience coming from a similar hotel/ restaurant background necessary to join our team. Your will be required to demonstrate your experience, your passion for food, your food knowledge and cooking skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of the Head Chef. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career. As part of your duties, you will be required to:

• Maintaining high standards of food preparation and service of the afternoon and evening service.
• Be aware of all food preparation standards and that they are met at all times.
• Ensure that food that is prepared and presented is of high quality.
• Ensure food safety guidelines & HACCP are maintained and monitored.
• Assist in other sections of the Kitchen as required.

This is a full-time position which includes weekends and evening shifts.
