Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Chef de Partie to support the team at University Hospital Galway. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen duties, help deliver hospital dining services, and ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene.

The role requires experience in a fast-paced catering environment, a strong background in food production, and knowledge of HACCP. You will work in a hospital setting, maintaining professional appearance and adhering to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Strong background in food production.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP.
• Flexible and solution-oriented with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Deliver food services for the restaurant and Patient Feeding.
• Follow Catering Hygiene Policy and Aramark dress code; maintain a clean uniform.
• Assist in training and development of Commis Chefs and other kitchen staff.
• Observe HACCP and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Follow FIFO stock-rotation procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protect patient confidentiality.
