Job summary

The Black Forge, located at 163/165 Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. You will prepare and cook dishes, assist with menu planning, and help maintain high standards of hygiene and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have previous Chef de Partie experience, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to work well under pressure while delivering top-quality plates and consistent service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook high-quality dishes within your assigned section of the kitchen.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for seasonal and innovative dishes.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards at all times.
• Liaise with suppliers to check the quality of ingredients and ensure correct stock rotation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to coordinate kitchen operations and ensure timely service.
