Job summary

Talbot Hotel Clonmel is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes for Wheat Bar & Bistro and our function business, including weddings and events.

The Chef de Partie will report to the Head Chef and must have experience in a busy kitchen, a commitment to quality and presentation, HACCP training, and a professional appearance and work attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is essential.
• Ability to work well in a busy environment.
• Have a passion for quality and presentation.
• Be HACCP trained and demonstrate excellent hygiene practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to the appropriate agreed standard.
• Operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognised techniques.
• Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene.
• Operate machines and cooking equipment in a reasonable manner.
• Understand the provisions and maintenance of the kitchen service.
• Work as part of a busy kitchen team and overall, as part of a professional hotel team.
• Assist in other sections as required by the business.

The Talbot Hotel Clonmel, part of the Talbot Collection is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie.

As a Chef de Partie, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality food to customers of our Wheat Bar & Bistro and guests of our function business in all sections with a particular focus on busy weddings and functions. The Chef de Partie will report to the Head Chef.
