Job summary

The Clonakilty Park Hotel in Clonakilty, Co. Cork, is recruiting a Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef, you will assist in producing high-quality dishes for our guests and maintain the professional standard of the kitchen.

Key duties include supporting the head chefs, monitoring food quality and hygiene, and ensuring HACCP compliance. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and capable of working midweek and weekends in a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Experience in hotels or similar kitchen environment.
• Fully HACCP trained.
• Able to work midweek and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and monitor food quality and hygiene standards.
• Follow the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef's example of excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support fellow kitchen staff in observing hygiene during food preparation and storage.

Objective of the Role: Reporting to the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist our kitchen team in producing high quality dishes for our guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.

Requirements / Ideal Candidate

• Must be reliable and flexible to work midweek and weekends.
• Have previous experience working within hotels or in a similar role.
• Have a passion for and genuine interest in food and new trends.
• Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members.
• Be a team player.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Fully HACCP trained with a good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
• Fluent English is essential.
