About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality food and an exceptional customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on chef who takes pride in producing excellent food, maintaining high standards and working as part of a positive, professional kitchen team.

Working closely with the wider culinary and management team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining strong food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality food to consistently high standards.
  • Follow menus, recipes and agreed specifications while maintaining quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Support the smooth and efficient day‑to‑day operation of the kitchen.
  • Maintain excellent standards of food quality, taste, presentation and service.
  • Work effectively as part of the kitchen team, supporting colleagues during busy service periods.
  • Assist with menu preparation and contribute ideas for new dishes and improvements where appropriate.
  • Ensure food is prepared, stored and handled safely and in accordance with food safety, HACCP and allergen requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist with stock rotation, storage and monitoring to minimise waste and maintain product quality.
  • Support effective portion control and minimise food waste.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service and a consistent customer experience.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and health & safety requirements.
  • Respond positively to feedback and contribute to continuous improvement within the kitchen.
  • Support and assist less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and helping to maintain high standards.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
  • Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Experience working in catering, hospitality, food service or a comparable kitchen environment.
  • A good understanding of food safety, HACCP, allergen management and kitchen hygiene.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong organisation and time‑management skills.
  • A positive, team‑focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute
