Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Limerick is seeking an experienced Chartered Valuer to join our growing team. You will deliver high-quality valuation and advisory services across a national platform, serving investors, developers, financial institutions and occupiers.

The role requires a strong valuation background, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a drive to support business growth in the Irish market. A hybrid work model and competitive benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Property, Real Estate or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Surveyor qualification (RICS and/or SCSI).
  • APC accredited.
  • Registered Valuer status.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in commercial real estate, valuation or advisory services.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish property market, legislation and economic drivers.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake and oversee valuation assignments across commercial property sectors.
  • Manage existing client accounts while developing and maintaining relationships with new and prospective clients.
  • Lead and coordinate project delivery, ensuring high quality and professionalism.
  • Prepare and review detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS and SCSI standards.
  • Conduct market research and analyse property trends, legislation and economic factors affecting real estate markets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
  • Act as trusted advisor to clients including banks, funds and institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximise opportunities and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to professional development.
  • Assist in implementing departmental business plans and strategic objectives.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Chartered Valuer to join their growing team in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused property professional to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including investors, developers, financial institutions and occupiers across the Irish property market. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality valuation and advisory services while helping to drive business growth and client success across a national platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and oversee valuation assignments across a range of commercial property sectors.
  • Manage existing client accounts while developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and prospective clients.
  • Lead and coordinate project delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare and review detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS and SCSI standards.
  • Conduct market research and analyse property trends, legislation and economic factors affecting real estate markets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals and industry contacts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, including banks, funds, institutional investors and private clients.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider business to maximise opportunities and deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to professional development initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental business plans and strategic objectives.
About You

You are a motivated and client-focused property professional with a strong valuation background and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Property, Real Estate or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Surveyor qualification (RICS and/or SCSI).
  • APC accredited.
  • Registered Valuer status.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in commercial real estate, valuation or advisory services.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish property market, relevant legislation and economic drivers.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Desirable
  • Experience using CRM and business management platforms such as Salesforce, Workday or similar systems.
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
  • Established network of contacts within the Irish property sector.
